RONN!E: The Blue Eyed Native

Hailing from the (Sƛ̕púlmx) Cowlitz Tribe of Washington, RONN!E, widely known as The Blue Eyed Native, is a Two-Spirit artist, producer, and cultural advocate dedicated to bridging tradition and innovation. With over 15 years of leadership in event production, broadcasting, and digital media, RONN!E’s work amplifies Indigenous voices while honoring the living culture of their people.
As a seasoned Radio Production Manager and broadcaster, RONN!E has directed programming, produced original shows, and created content celebrating Native identity through music, storytelling, and activism. Their vision and technical expertise have helped build platforms for authentic Indigenous expression and community connection.
As the longtime Editor-in-Chief of SciFiMonkeys.com, RONN!E has also been a champion for representation in speculative media, highlighting Indigenous creators, diverse voices, and emerging talent across pop culture. In 2024, they were honored as an Indigenous Oral History inductee into Seattle’s Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) for their contributions to cultural preservation and storytelling.
Beyond media, RONN!E serves on the Cowlitz Tribe Powwow Committee and Cultural Resources Board, advocating for cultural revitalization, youth empowerment, and the preservation of ancestral knowledge. Their mission is to restore and strengthen tribal culture while using that heritage to guide future generations through an ever-evolving world.
