Committees & Future Board Positions

We are still accepting applications for future board openings as well as committee positions, which are a great way to get involved and support IRRF’s ongoing work.

IRRF is currently recruiting for its standing committees, which play an important role in shaping and advancing IRRF’s mission:

  • Culture & Community Engagement Committee

  • Fundraising & Events Committee

  • Finance Committee

  • Governance Committee

IRRF is growing—and we’re looking for people who want to be part of that growth. While our Board positions are currently filled, we have openings on our committees. Scroll down to learn more about volunteering or joining our team.

About Our Board

The IRRF Board is a group of majority-Indigenous community members, united in a passion for meaningful, sustainable social change. Board members help ensure community members feel safe, supported, and represented.

We welcome input, hold tough conversations, and work to incorporate practical feedback to achieve our goals. Every voice matters.

Time Commitments

Board members can expect to spend an average of 5+ hours per month, including preparation and attendance at meetings and programs. This may increase to 10–20+ hours per month during peak times (like annual events).

Officers (Chair, Co-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer) will spend additional time as needed.

  • Read, review, and understand the contents of our Bylaws

  • Follow IRRF policies, including conflict of interest and confidentiality

  • Commit to IRRF’s mission, vision, services, and programs
